West Chester has a choice November 7th
West Chester has a choice in the November 7th election. Where do we want to go for the next 25 years? Over the past few decades, West Chester has been blessed to have strong leaders with a firm vision, one that built us up to be one of the best places to live in America. Looking forward, we will need leadership in our Trustees that will have expectations, giving our community a chance to stay one of the best places to live.
I have very strong expectations of leadership. Over my eight years in politics, I have seen many of our leaders in Ohio and our nation put us down the wrong path – fiscally and socially. People that have changed over time to fit a common vision of what good government looks like, I will hold West Chester to a higher standard.
Over the years, I have stood against our government’s misuse of power in the IRS against conservative groups. I have protested Governor Kasich and his misguided decisions to accept President Obama’s Medicaid Expansion and Common Core. I have stood up to the federal government’s overreach of power with Obamacare. I have expected immigration reform that followed the rule of law leading a charge with 200 other Ohio conservatives. I have written countless articles pleading with our government to not spend money our children have not earned yet and stop excessive spending.
As an elected member of the Ohio Republican Party State Central Committee, I led the charge to put the principles of the Republican Party down on paper in the form of a platform and changed the leadership of the party to a direction that will support all Republicans, not just a chosen few.
If chosen as the next Trustee of West Chester Township, I will bring those expectations of leadership directly to the people. I will make sure that the residents and business owners of West Chester know their budget will continue to be fiscally conservative – with spending going to our police and fire departments and continuing to maintain the high quality of our infrastructure. I will keep spending in line to maintain our AAA+ bond rating. I will focus on maintaining our strong economic environment that will let our businesses continue to grow.
As a mother of three children in West Chester, my goal is clear. I want to keep West Chester Township economically viable and financially sound so when my children make the decision of where to raise their family West Chester is still one of the best places to live in America and they come home.
As we go to the polls next week, West Chester has a choice – I am a leader looking toward the future and I ask for your vote on November 7th.
